The last 20 years have seen tremendous growth and prosperity of India. The lifestyle of an average Indian has changed drastically by use of available gadgets and fastfood joints. This sedentary life has led to an exponential rise in the number of Lifestyle disorders including acid peptic diseases including GERD and Hiatus Hernia, H pylori infections, Obesity and its complications, GI cancers, Constipation, Indigestion, Cardiovascular disease and Diabetes Mellitus. There has been an increase in addictions to Smoking, Tobacco and Alcohol which has to an increased incidence of Cancers, Peptic Ulcers, Liver and Pancreas diseases. Kaizen Hospital has thus undertaken a campaign to increase awareness for lifestyle disorders amongst the people in the society, to adopt healthy lifestyles. The Life style team conducts several awareness programmes in companies, schools and other organisations. Kaizen Hospital also organises free health checkup camps to measure vital parameters and to detect these diseases early for people in the society.
