33 years old gentleman admitted in ER with accelerated Hypertension , on investigations was found to have a Giant Tumour over the right Kidney, of further investigations it turned out to be a resectable 16 cm in diameter Giant Pheochromocytoma , after controlling his blood pressure and fitness for surgery,he was operated successfully,by open surgery as it was a huge pheochromocytoma not amenable to be operated by Laparoscopic surgery , and was discharged in 3 days from the hospital.
This patient was admitted with signs and symptoms of acute perforative peritonitis since 2 days and on appropriate invetsigations and fitness for surgery he was advised to undergo diagnostic laparoscopy then proceed.He was successfully managed repair of perforated Doudenal Ulcer and discharged on 4th post op day then followedup in OPD for suture removal after 7 days .

Being a tertiary care centre,here he witnessed some of the rear procedures and complex surgeries with the team of DR A Sion.
He has witnessed Swap , Domino and few other rare surgeries a surgeon can imagine.He assisted CABG with liver transplant,both kidney and liver transplant also. Here not only National but even international patients from countries like Uganda,Africa,Russia and neighbouring countries like Burma, Pakistan and Afghanistan use to get their disease treated at this centre at Medanta.
He got opportunity to do the first of its kind laparoscopic donor left lobe hepatectomy were he was involved as camera surgeon.It was a phenomenon well structured fellowship were a fellow have to maintain a logbook of surgeries he assisted and done independently,do case presentations,attend and actively participate in listing meeting for liver transplantation in Delhi or any other state in India , as the transplant team had a common listing for other states of India , they have to do power point presentations in interdepartmental meetings and case discussions,journal club meetings and has to represent their team in national and international seminar and conferences too.
At MEDANTA, THE MEDICITY he also learned the basics of Robotic surgery and assisted in cases of hepatobiliary by Robotic surgery.He was among the surgeon who was assisting for the first robotic left lobectomy for liver cancer.
